A Day in the Life

Cassie & Ryan’s daily (or weekly) exploits

Times flies… December 1, 2007

I can’t believe that it’s actually already December. Where does the time go?? I still have so much to do before the holidays.

On the plus side, we’re leaving to be visit our families in about 20 days – yay! California to Michigan (with stops in Denver and Iowa), Michigan to Nebraska, then back to California again. By car! With Ratsy & Squidgy! :)

Hey, American Airlines screwed us last year and we wound up having to drive anyway. I still haven’t gotten any of that money back. So, if I have to drive anyway potentially, might as drive the whole way. Oh, and don’t fly American Airlines.

My friend, Amber, planned a trip for a whole bunch of us to go to Medieval Times tonight. I haven’t been to the Medieval Times in Orange County ever, and I haven’t been to a Medieval Times period in years and years. I’m so excited! A bunch of friends getting together to be silly and have fun – what’s not to enjoy?

Track weight, calories with Fit Day December 1, 2007

I haven’t been very good about posting my calorie intake on here this week. Honestly, I’m just glad this week is done! Late nights at work every day.

I have kept up with my calorie intake on my own, however, through a great site called fitday.com. You can create a free account there to input your daily calories, activities, and set weight goals for yourself. You can even add your own recipes or custom meals from restaurants! I’ve actually downloaded their software for my computer for a $20 fee, which allows me a few extra features (more available reports plus you can keep track of your body measurements and moods).

What I really enjoy about the site is that I used to pay $16/month to Weight Watchers online for similar features. This site is free, unless you choose to download the software, and it seems more user-friendly to me. If you’ve been looking for a way to keep track of your calories and exercise, plus plan out weight loss goals for yourself, check out FitDay! It’s been a real find for me.
