I set a goal for myself to lose eight pounds in a month. That’s only 1.8-something pounds per week. It didn’t seem like that much of a stretch. But despite monitoring what I’m eating, preparing healthier recipes, and going to the gym regularly, I’m still at the same weight I was when I started this mess. Ryan, my wonderful husband, has already lost six of the eight pounds he needed to get to his goal. $%$#%$#^%$^@#@!@%$&*&^%$#@
Granted, good things have happened. I’ve lost some inches and am able to walk faster/harder due to the exercise I’ve been getting. But seriously, when am I gonna shed a few and drop a pants-size??
